East Asia
I consider myself a lifelong student of China and East Asia. Admittedly, I am not an expert on this region but have long been fascinated with it since my first visit to Beijing in March 1988. To this end, I continue to study, participate in workshops and conferences through the Asian Studies Development Program at the East-West Center, and now, work on research for future publication.
I was also a 2010 Fulbright recipient in South Korea, which expanded my insight and curiosity beyond China.
